Police are searching for a trio of suspects who allegedly robbed a liquor store on Preston Avenue South.
According to police, officers were called to the business at around 11:45 a.m. on Tuesday morning.

“Officers viewed video evidence of two women and a man entering the business, placing several bottles of alcohol into a bag, and threatening the employee before fleeing in a vehicle,” the Saskatoon Police Service said in a statement.
The suspects have not been located, but the police force said officers are continuing to investigate the robbery.
Rifle, imitation guns seized on Carlton Drive
Three people are facing charges after police responded to a report of a person armed with a gun on Wednesday morning.
Officers were called to a home on Carlton Drive at around 7 a.m., and surrounded the home.
“Several people were taken into police custody for further investigation and, following the execution of a search warrant, two imitation firearms and a rifle were located inside the residence,” the police force explained in a statement.
“Through investigation, officers were also able to view video evidence that showed one of the arrested persons in possession of what was later determined to be an imitation firearm.”
A 23-year-old man is now charged with possession of a weapon dangerous to public peace and unauthorized carry of a concealed weapon. A 29-year-old man is facing charges of unlawful possession of ammunition and failing to comply with court-imposed conditions, while another 29-year-old man was arrested on outstanding warrants.
