A 16-year-old boy was taken to hospital with serious injuries on Monday night after he was allegedly attacked by a man wielding a knife.
According to police, officers were called to a home on 22nd Street West just before 9:30 p.m. after getting reports of an injured person.

“Upon arrival, police located a youth suffering from injuries consistent with a bladed weapon,” the Saskatoon Police Service said in a statement.
“Upon further investigation, it was determined the 16-year-old male victim had been assaulted by a man armed with a knife in a parking lot in the 900 block of 22nd Street West.”
Anyone with information on the assault was asked to contact police or make an anonymous report through Crime Stoppers.
Three arrested after assault outside bar
Three people are facing charges after allegedly attacking two men outside a bar on Idylwyld Drive on Sunday morning.
Police were called to the bar at around 2:30 a.m. after getting a report that two people had been assaulted.
“Upon arrival, police located two males, ages 23 and 24, who were transported to hospital for treatment of serious but non-life threatening injuries,” the police force explained.
“Three males were identified and arrested. They are each charged with Aggravated Assault and Assault Causing Bodily Harm.”
