A 33-year-old Regina man is facing charges after a child was allegedly touched inappropriately during a massage.

According to police, the massage therapy session took place in east Regina in February and a police investigation led to the arrest of massage therapist Douglas Ramos Fundao on Feb. 24.
Police said he made his first court appearance the following day.
Fundao is facing charges of sexual assault on a person under 16, sexual interference, and invitation to sexual touching.
According to the Regina Police Service, there were 349 sexual assaults in 2024.
