On the weekend, a semi-rollover turned deadly for nearly two dozen cattle.
RCMP said the accident happened on Highway 39 near Midale — which is about 160 kilometers southeast of Regina — on Saturday morning.
The driver was taken to hospital but was not seriously hurt.
The semi was carrying 100 cattle. 22 cattle died as a result of the rollover.
Local ranchers helped gather the surviving cattle, who were treated by vets.
RCMP are still investigating.
