Police in Saskatoon seized a vehicle, more than a kilogram of cocaine, counterfeit cash and more during a drug investigation this week.
According to police, officers with the Saskatoon Police Service’s Crime Reduction Team executed two search warrants at a vehicle and home on Assiniboine Drive just after 9 p.m. on Wednesday.

A 30-year-old man was arrested, and police say he now faces seven criminal charges related to drugs, weapons and counterfeit items.
During the searches, the officers seized:
- a 2015 Hyndai Santa Fe;
- three cell phones;
- counterfeit currency in $100 denominations;
- $6,390 in cash;
- 1,117 grams of cocaine;
- 168 grams of crack cocaine;
- drug packaging material;
- two digital scales;
- a cutting agent used to dilute drugs before sale; and
- a machete.
Police said the 30-year-old man is expected to appear in court on Thursday afternoon.
