A Melfort man faces several charges after a drug investigation in the city.
Saskatchewan RCMP’s Prince Albert Crime Reduction Team and Melfort RCMP executed a search warrant at a home on Burns Ave. in Melfort on Aug. 29 as part of a drug trafficking investigation.
A man was arrested at the scene, and officers found small amounts of cocaine and methamphetamine, a sum of cash, and drug trafficking paraphernalia at the home.

The 36-year-old was charged with one count of possession for the purpose of trafficking cocaine, one count of possession for the purpose of trafficking methamphetamine, and one count of possession of property obtained by crime less than $5000.
He is set to appear in Melfort Provincial Court on Nov. 4.
