Gage Haubrich, The Canadian Taxpayers Federation Prairie Director, joins Evan to discuss what’s going on at the fuel pump.
10:00 – Research from Western University in Ontario has discovered a protein that can stop DNA damage in its tracks. This finding could lead to developing vaccines against cancer, to crops that can withstand harsh growing conditions. Rob Szabla, graduate student in the Department of Biochemistry at Western University in Ontario and lead on the study, joins Evan to discuss his findings.
10:30 – A new survey tool has been designed to predict injuries and improve occupational health and safety for Saskatchewan construction workers. The Safety Culture Survey tool is a collaboration between the Saskatchewan Construction Safety Association and EHS Analytics. Collin Pullar, President of the Saskatchewan Construction Safety Association (SCSA) joins Evan to discuss how the tool will improve safety on the job.
