A 52-year-old Regina man found himself in handcuffs on Sunday morning after allegedly slashing tires on several vehicles.
Police said officers were called to the area of Pendygrasse and McCormack roads, on the dividing line between the Parkridge and Fairhaven neighbourhoods, at about 4:20 a.m.

Officers quickly found a person matching the suspect’s description walking on Pendygrasse. He was found to be wanted on a warrant issued in Regina, police said, and was carrying two knives at the time of his arrest.
“After follow up investigation, officers were able to locate a number of vehicles with slashed tires,” the police service said in a statement.
“Police are still investigating and at this time, mischief charges have not yet been laid.”
While the Regina man is not yet facing mischief charges related to damaging the vehicles, police said he has been charged with possession of a weapon, concealing a weapon, and breaching court-ordered conditions.
