Several thousand people gathered at the iconic Bessborough gardens in downtown Saskatoon Friday night for night one of the three-day Rock the River festival.
It was clear skies and warm weather for fans who enjoyed a nostalgic night of classic rock hits from The Stampeders, Trooper and Nazareth.
Saturday’s lineup includes The Box, Lighthouse, Harlequin, and Foghat. Sunday’s artists are Toque, Prism, Aldo Nova, and Great White.
Gates open at 2:30 p.m. both days.
