Police in Saskatoon say several people are in custody in connection with a suspicious death.
According to police, officers responded to “an ongoing incident” in the 200 block of Avenue I South early on Friday morning. Police set up traffic restrictions, and asked the public to stay away from the area.

Later on Friday morning, police confirmed officers were investigating a suspicious death.
“At this time, the deceased has not been identified and several people have been taken into custody to be interviewed,” the police service explained in a statement.
“The investigation is ongoing and an update will be provided upon new information becoming known.”
