A three-week drug trafficking investigation by the Saskatoon Police Service has resulted in a 40-year-old man, a 40-year-old woman and a 44-year-old woman being charged.
The Saskatoon Police Service Crime Reduction Team arrested them on Aug. 13.
Search warrants were executed according to police in the 300 block of 29th Street West and the 2300 block of Millar Avenue.
As a result, police seized:
- a 9mm semi-automatic rifle,
- two prohibited 31-round magazines,
- 250 rounds of ammunition,
- approximately 50 grams of suspected fentanyl,
- methamphetamine,
- gamma-hydroxybutyrate,
- $1750 CAD,
- multiple knives,
- and assorted paraphernalia consistent with drug trafficking.

According to the release the Saskatoon man is charged with:
- possession for the purpose of trafficking,
- possession of a controlled substance,
- possession of the proceeds of crime under $5000,
- eight weapons-related offences,
- possession of false identity documents,
- and breach of a firearms prohibition.
The two women from Saskatoon face a multitude of firearms-related charges.
