Swimmer Summer McIntosh has won Canada’s fourth gold medal at the Paris Olympic games, and set an Olympic record of 2:06.56 s in the 200m Individual Medley.
McIntosh also won the country’s second and third gold medal for the women’s 400-metre individual medley, and 200-metre butterfly, where she set an Olympic record time of two minutes and 3.03 seconds.
Canada’s first gold medal at the 2024 Olympics in Paris was won by Christa Deguchi in the women’s 57-kilogram judo event.
