The water is currently not suitable for swimming due to the health hazards caused by E.coli.
According to the website, the levels of E.coli have been rising since the end of June.
A sample done on June 24 showed 5.4 orgs/100ml. A sample done on July 30 showed 95.4 orgs/100ml.
We’re waiting to hear more from the SHA on when the water will be safe for swimmers.
