After weeks, Federated Co-operatives Ltd. (FCL) said on Friday that operations for its grocery systems had been fully restored.
In a statement posted to social media, it said internal grocery operations, inventory and delivery systems were back up and running.
It said its priority would be to expedite grocery supply to the local Co-op stores.
Some stores have been dealing with bare shelves for weeks, since the cyber attack that brought down most of the company’s systems.
FCL hasn’t spoken publicly about the attack, only posting updates to its social media. But cyber security experts have speculated that it was a ransomware attack.
Different things have slowly been coming back online for the Co-op. On Wednesday the company’s corporate website was brought back up. On July 4 the company’s cardlocks were running again.
Originally the company said it didn’t have any evidence that consumer data was compromised, and last week it responded to rumours that data was copied from FCL’s servers and will be released. It said at that time, that it was still investigating and would take appropriate action if data was compromised.
The company also said it had taken some of its own systems offline, as a precaution, when it learned about the attack.
