The Regina International Airport received another special visit from a United States Air Force C-17 Globemaster III.
A U.S.A. military plane landed back at the YQR airport to refuel after returning from Portugal before heading home to Hawaii.
It was spotted earlier this month on its departure flight.
James Bogusz, President and CEO of the Regina Airport Authority said plane enthusiasts are excited to see the giant plane back on the tarmac.
“I know the plane spotting community was quite excited the last time it was here,” he said. “It caused a little bit of a buzz here in the local community.”
According to the United States Air Force, the C-17 is used to transport cargo and troops to military bases around the world.

Bogusz said the airport is thrilled to welcome any military aircraft.
“We’re very accommodating to military both the Canadian of course and the United States Military,” he said. “We really go out of our way to ensure that they can be handled to the best of our ability.”
Although Bogusz has been around planes at the airport for years, the size of the C-17 shocked him.
“It’s got a wingspan that is actually wider than our main runway,” he said. “It’s a very big aircraft with four engines and it’s quite an incredible site.”
