The Saskatchewan Teachers Federation has announced it will resume negotions on Wednesday June 5, 2024.
The Government-Trustee Bargaining Committee accepted a new provincial collective bargainin agreement from the Teachers’ Bargainin Committee.
This comes after the teachers rejected a tentative provincial collective agreement during a vote this past Wednesday and Thursday.

Sanctions will not be implemented while negotiations are taking place. If there is an impasse in negotiations, sanctions may be imposed with 48 hours’ notice.
Earlier Scott Moe said binding arbitration is the “next logical step,” towards a contract agreement with the teachers.
“That will get all of us to an agreement as soon as possible. It’s for certain the fastest way (and) the fairest way,” Moe said during an appearance on the Evan Bray Show on Friday morning.Negotiations resume for the Saskatchewan Teachers Federation and the Sask. Government
