Police in Saskatoon say a 33-year-old rideshare driver was assaulted and robbed by a pair of women on Monday afternoon.
According to police, officers were called to the 200 block of Avenue N North in the city’s Westmount neigbourhood at around 2:10 p.m. where they met the injured victim.
He told police the attack happened while he was behind the wheel.

“The victim was eventually able to bring the vehicle to a stop and both female suspects fled on foot,” police said in a statement. “Shortly after, officers located and arrested one of the two suspects.”
Police said the 21-year-old woman is now “charges in relation to robbery.”
