A cold front slowly moving in from Alberta will bring unsettled weather with cooler temperatures to much of the province, although Environment Canada meterologist Dan Fulton said any showers that could put a damper on the wildfires would be "hit and miss". (Lara Fominoff/650 CKOM)

By CKOM NewsMay 26, 2024 | 11:52 AM
It could be a stormy Sunday according to Environment Canada.
Scattered thunderstorms are expected Sunday afternoon over southern Saskatchewan bringing along a risk of funnel clouds.
Small hail and gusty winds are also expected.
The threat for funnel clouds will diminish late Sunday afternoon.
Environment Canada said the weak rotation that comes with this storm normally doesn’t pose a danger near the ground.
However there is a chance that this rotation could intensify and become a weak land spout tornado.
The advisory stretches from Estevan to Kindersly, and includes cities like Moose Jaw and Swift Current.
Saskatoon and Regina are not affected by this advisory.
