Carlton Crusaders earned a tough 35-34 win against Bishop James Mahoney Saints.
Heading into the finale of Canada’s Got Talent, Rebecca Strong told paNOW, “I’m just trying to keep it really chill and not psyche myself out.”
In doing that, the Prince Albert singer ended up giving chills with her soul-stirring voice and psyching up an entire country of adoring fans that ended up voting her as the million-dollar winner of the popular televised competition on Tuesday evening.
Strong gave an epic performance in the finale with her own spin of the Adele song ‘Rolling in the Deep.’

“It was on my bucket list … I’ve been dreaming since I was very young, and I’ve always dreamt of being on big stages and (Canada’s) Got Talent, so yeah I did think that I would be on a stage like this at some point in my life, I just didn’t know when,” she told paNOW earlier in the week.
Throughout the competition Strong continually shared messages of positivity, particularly for Indigenous youth who she encouraged to follow their dreams – just like her.
