Indigenous Services Canada plans to conduct a financial audit of the Federation of Sovereign Indigenous Nations (FSIN).
In a letter sent to the leadership of FSIN and obtained by paNOW, Indigenous Services Canada said it is conducting the forensic financial audit with help from KPMG.

The audit will cover all expenditures related to funding from April 1, 2019 to the present.
No timeline was given as to when the audit would be completed.
paNOW has reached out the FSIN for comment and is awaiting a response.
