A remarkably bad driver was arrested Tuesday night after a failed attempt to flee from police in Saskatoon in an allegedly stolen vehicle.
According to police, officers spotted the vehicle shortly before midnight on Tuesday, but when they attempted a traffic stop, the driver tried to get away. The chase was ultimately brought to an end by the driver’s lack of skill behind the wheel.

“While evading, the vehicle lost control several times, colliding with a parked car and bus stop, before crashing into a snow bank,” police said in a statement.
“The driver was arrested, and upon a search of his person police located approximately four grams of methamphetamine.”
The 34-year-old driver is now facing charges of dangerous driving, evading police, obstructing a peace officer and possession of methamphetamine. He was also found to be wanted on outstanding warrants and had breached a release order, police said.
