Regina Police Service has charged a 54-year-old man after he allegedly assaulted two children in the back room of a business on the 400 block of Albert Street North.
Police said the investigation started on Jan. 4, when police got reports that a 12-year-old girl and a 13-year-old girl were sexually assaulted by an employee.
“The youths told police that the assault took place in the back room of the business and that the employee had been calling and texting them for several weeks prior,” stated the Regina Police Service in a new release.
“The youths first met the suspect when they attended to the business which offers entertainment services, primarily, to children.”
The Regina Children’s Justice Centre led the investigation. It is a specialized unit that combines police investigators and social workers during allegations of child abuse.
