The Nipawin RCMP is seeking tips from the public as it investigates a stabbing that sent a man to hospital with serious injuries.
On Tuesday, the Mounties issued a release saying officers responded Monday at around 2:45 a.m., to a call about an injured man laying on a sidewalk outside a business in the 300 block of First Avenue East in Nipawin.
The man, who had been stabbed, was taken to hospital. The RCMP release didn’t provide an update on the man’s condition.
“Investigators are seeking the public’s assistance to help determine how the man got to the area and/or how he was injured,” the release said.
Anyone with information is asked to call the Nipawin RCMP at 306-862-6270 or 310-RCMP. People also can call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
