On Saturday at 2:54 a.m., Saskatoon police sent out a media release saying that two people were hit by a train.
Police say it happened at 20th Street West and Avenue K South.
The release said Saskatoon Police Service, CP Police and other emergency crews responded to the scene.

Motorists were advised to find alternative routes because traffic had been disrupted “along various intersections between 20th Street W. and 17th Street W.”
In a follow-up release sent out just after 4 a.m., police said the restrictions had been lifted.
Saskatoon Police told CKOM that it happened around 2 a.m. They also said the two people hit were taken to the hospital for “undetermined” injuries and that the situation is under the control of CP Police.
