Winter officially arrived on Thursday evening, but Mother Nature ushered in the coldest season with historically warm weather in Saskatchewan.
Environment Canada said Cypress Hills, Coronach, Rockglen all set new temperature records.

It marked the second day in a row the weather office had to make new entries in the record books.
On Wednesday, Swift Current, Maple Creek, Rockglen, Lucky Lake and Assiniboia set new records.
The agency says mild temperatures are expected to continue through Christmas and beyond, with no significant snow in the forecast.
