A 21-year-old Saskatoon man has been charged with possessing and distributing child pornography.
According to police, officers with the Saskatchewan Internet Child Exploitation Unit started an investigation into child pornography in August. Late last month, officers with a warrant searched a home in Saskatoon, where they seized electronic devices.

As a result of the investigation, police said Joshua Barnes was charged on Wednesday.
He’s facing two counts of possession of child pornography, and one count of distributing it.
Police said he made a court appearance on Thursday, and was released in advance of another appearance early next month.
