RCMP officers in Saskatchewan are asking the public to report any sightings of a Saskatoon man wanted for manslaughter.
According to police, 34-year-old Nolan Bird is charged in the 2022 death of 61-year-old David Lapointe.
Lapointe was found dead inside a home on 102nd Street in North Battleford on March 13, 2022. A warrant for Bird’s arrest was issued after an investigation by Saskatchewan RCMP Major Crimes.
Bird stands five-foot-seven, the Mounties said, and weighs 170 pounds, with black hair, brown eyes and tattoos under an eye and on his neck.
“Investigators believe Nolan Bird is in Saskatoon,” the RCMP said in a statement.
“If you see Nolan Bird, do not approach him. Contact your local police service immediately.”
