A 16-year-old girl was found lying in the street after what Saskatoon police are calling a “serious assault.”
According to police, officers were called to Avenue U South at about 4:30 a.m. Wednesday after two passersby saw the girl lying in the street.

The victim was taken to hospital, and police said she’s now in stable condition.
While details were scarce, police asked anyone with information that could help the investigation to contact the Saskatoon Police Service or Crime Stoppers.
