12:00 – New technology and talent at the Global Institute for Food Security at the University of Saskatchewan has made the GIFS lab the first lab in Western Canada to offer certain genomics analyses services. It means researchers in agriculture and other areas can work more quickly and cost effectively. CEO Steve Webb joins Gormley to share more about how this will accelerate research, development and commercialization within agrifood and impact consumers.
