Saskatoon police responded to a fatal pedestrian-train collision on Monday morning near Edmonton Avenue and 33rd Street West.
Traffic restrictions that were in place at the intersection as police investigated were removed around 3:30 p.m.
According to police, the man was reportedly struck by a train around 8:30 a.m. Officers are investigating a stretch of track spanning from Edmonton Avenue at 33rd Street to Avenue D North near 39th Street West.
Pedestrians and vehicles were asked to avoid the area.
Police said in a release they have not yet reached next of kin.
