A two-vehicle crash on Highway 1 on Thursday saw 10 people sent to hospital, including eight youths.
According to the RCMP, the crash, which involved a truck and a passenger van happened around 4 p.m. near Sintaluta.
The van was carrying nine people, including eight youths from the Broadview area, police said. All nine of them were taken to hospital “with injuries described as either severe or non-life-threatening.”
The driver and sole occupant of the truck – a man from Manitoba – was taken to hospital by STARS helicopter, the RCMP said, but no details on his injuries were available.
Police said the crash is still under investigation, with help from a collision reconstruction expert.
