In a battle of Saskatchewan rivals, the Saskatoon Hilltops ended the Regina Thunder’s regular season winning streak.
The Hilltops went into Mosaic Stadium on Saturday and defeated the Thunder 36-6 powered by three receiving touchdowns from Noah Flaman.
Regina had been undefeated in the regular season since 2019.
Hilltops running back Boston Davidsen added a rushing touchdown.
Saskatoon moves to a perfect 4-0 on the season while the Thunder’s record falls to 3-1.
Regina will be in Winnipeg on Sept. 17 to take on the Rifles as they will try to bounce back from the loss.
Meanwhile, the Hilltops will travel to Edmonton to take on the Huskies.
