A Saskatoon man is OK after a man in a ski mask brandishing a shotgun robbed him early Monday morning.
According to police, the man was parked on Appleby Drive at 1:30 a.m. when a black minivan pulled up next to his vehicle and three people jumped out, “including one who was concealing his face with a mask and holding a shotgun.”
Police said the robber pointed the gun at the victim and threatened him into handing over his phone and wallet before jumping back into the van and taking off.
The robber with the gun was wearing a black ski mask and a grey hoodie, police said, while a second male suspect was wearing grey sweatpants, a black sweater and a black bandana. No description of the third suspect was available.
The 30-year-old victim wasn’t injured during the reported robbery.
Police asked anyone with information that could help the investigation to contact Saskatoon Police or make an anonymous report through Crime Stoppers.
