8:30 –The wildfires pushing towards Yellowknife have forced the city’s evacuation. 20,000 residents have been leaving by car or plane to get to safety. One of those evacuees, Territorial Court Judge Stephanie Whitecloud-Brass joins Gormley to discuss what getting out of the city was like.

9:00– It has been almost 6-months since the government has had a permanent ethics commissioner. This has led to any investigations conducted by the commissioner on pause until a replacement is found. Conservative MP Michael Barrett, who is the Ethics and Accountable Government Critic, joins Gormley to discuss how this absence affects government ethics.

10:00 – A state of emergency has been declared in Kelowna as evacuations are underway for residents. The McDougall Creek wildfire jumped the Okanagan Lake overnight, forcing this evacuation. Ted Farr is a News Anchor in Kelowna and joins Gormley to share the latest on what is happening.
