A crowd of people gathered in downtown Saskatoon on Thursday, excitedly watching the Canadian Forces Snowbirds’ flyover.
The performance was hosted in downtown Saskatoon in River Landing. People gathered on either side of the Traffic Bridge to watch, but the aircraft could be seen from other parts of the city as well.
There were eight aircraft in total, showcasing different formations, like a diamond and ‘V’ shape.
The flyover was to pay tribute to those who keep Saskatoon a safe and healthy community. A barbecue followed at the Aviation Museum for fans to meet the team.
