A 46-year-old Wynyard man is facing charges after allegedly taking a replica gun into a local bar and threatening patrons.
The Wynyard RCMP said the incident happened Thursday at around midnight.
According to a release, responding officers found a man outside the bar with what looked to be a gun. He dropped the weapon and was arrested.
Officers subsequently determined the gun was the replica of a revolver with pellets in the chamber.
No one was injured.
The man was charged with possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose, carrying a concealed weapon, and uttering threats. He made his first court appearance Friday.
