Two children were taken to hospital Wednesday after being attacked by a dog in Saskatoon.
Police received several calls in the afternoon about the dog in the 2700 block of 33rd Street West.
According a release, the dog was off leash when it bit five- and 13-year-old children. The animal then went after at least two adults attempting to help the children.
The children’s dog bites are not life-threatening.
Meanwhile, the dog is in the custody of animal control officers. Police did not say if the owner would be charged.
