A 54-year-old man is dead after a semi and a pickup truck collided on Highway 10 on Tuesday afternoon.
According to the RCMP, the crash happened about seven kilometres southwest of Fort Qu’Appelle. A passenger in the pickup, a 54-year-old man from Macoun, was declared dead at the scene, the RCMP said, and his family has been notified of the death.
The driver of the pickup was injured in the crash and was taken to hospital, police said, while the driver of the semi did not report any injuries.
The Mounties said the highway has been reopened to traffic, but the cause of the collision remains under investigation.
