A 40-year-old Prince Albert man has been charged with second-degree murder in connection with the death of a 78-year-old man just west of P.A.
According to the RCMP, the two men knew each other.
The Mounties said officers got a call Sunday at about 2:30 p.m., to do a welfare check on a man at a house just west of the city. When they arrived, they found Frank Lund dead inside the home.
“His death was determined to be suspicious in nature and Saskatchewan RCMP Major Crimes took carriage of the investigation,” the RCMP said.
Another man, Justin Madden, was arrested at the scene and subsequently charged. He was slated to appear in Prince Albert Provincial Court on Tuesday.
