There’s another option for people to beat the heat in Saskatoon.
Residents can make a splash at the city’s four outdoor pools again.
Riversdale pool opens today, followed by Lathey pool on Wednesday. Mayfair pool opens on June 13 while George Ward’s first day is on June 19.
Improvements this season include new waterslides at both Lathey and Riversdale pools. Like the slides at Mayfair and Shaw pools, Lathey’s new slide ends at the base rather than splashing into the pool, offering swimmers ease of access and exit.
General admission is $9.20. Youth ages 6-18 $5.55. Children under six years of age are admitted free to outdoor pools when accompanied by a parent or guardian.
