People’s Party of Canada Leader Maxime Bernier has been found guilty in Regina Provincial Court of violating public health measures that were put in place to combat COVID-19.
Bernier spoke at a so-called “freedom rally” in the Queen City on May 8, 2021. At the time, public health orders limited outdoor gatherings to just 10 people.
Regina police handed out several tickets after the rally. Bernier posted a picture to his social media account that showed he was among those who received a ticket.
