La Ronge RCMP is asking for the public’s help finding a man wanted on four counts of attempted murder.
Dency Herman, 29, was allegedly involved in the discharge of a firearm into a residence in La Ronge during the early morning of May 22. There were two adults and two children inside the residence at the time of the shooting, and he’s believed to have fled on foot.
No injuries were reported to police.
Herman was described as a male, approximately five-foot-eight and 180 pounds, with short black hair and brown eyes.
He has tattoos of a skull, flames, and cards on his right forearm, as well as tattoos on his left wrist and forearm.
Herman was last seen wearing a grey hoodie with joggers.
La Ronge RCMP is investigating, along with officers from the Prince Albert RCMP Forensic Identification Services.
Officers are following-up on all information provided to them to help locate Herman and determine the circumstances of the incident.
An arrest warrant has been issued for Herman on charges of four counts of attempted murder, multiple firearms offenses and failing to comply with conditions of a release order.
Herman is considered to be armed and dangerous. If he is seen, do not approach, and report the sighting to police by calling 9-1-1 immediately.
