Saskatoon police are searching for two suspects after an apparent home invasion Saturday in Saskatoon’s Pleasant Hill neighbourhood.
According to police, a 60-year-old man was at home in the 300 block of Avenue H South when a man and a woman burst in. The victim told police the suspects threatened him with what appeared to be a sawed-off shotgun.
The man escaped and went to a nearby gas station to call for help.
“Due to the report of a weapon, members of the SPS Tactical Support Unit responded to the scene,” police said in a release. “They were able to safely clear the home. The two suspects were not located inside.”
