Rush cap season with back-to-back victories

While the Saskatchewan Rush will miss the playoffs for the second straight season, they ended the 2023 campaign on a high note.

Winless this season when trailing after three quarters, the Rush staged a final quarter come back on the road to beat the Las Vegas Desert Dogs 13-12 Saturday night.

Warman’s own Laine Hruska stopped 35 shots in his second straight victory.

A fifth place finish in the Western Conference standings leaves the 8-10 Rush just outside the NLL playoffs.
