Sarah Mills says that even in tough times, we all have things we should be grateful for over the Thanksgiving weekend.
With temperatures starting to warm up, ice conditions have become unpredictable, and in some cases dangerous.
That was the case Friday evening when a vehicle plunged through the ice at the Carkboro river crossing north of Saskatoon.
According to Warman Fire and Rescue,the submerged vehicle’s headlights could be seen from beneath the ice.
The Highway Hotline is advising drivers that use Highway 784 to use a different route with flooding on boths sides of the South Saskatchewan River.
