A 56-year-old Saskatoon woman is facing real charges after allegedly menacing people with a fake gun.
According to police, officers on patrol near 20th Street West and Avenue P South spotted the woman pointing a weapon at people on the sidewalk at about 5 p.m. on Thursday.
She was arrested without incident and the gun turned out to be a replica, police added.
She’s now facing charges of possession of a weapon dangerous to public peace and unauthorized carrying of a concealed weapon.
