A 22-year-old woman was rushed to hospital early Friday morning after she was stabbed by a pair of would-be robbers.
According to police, officers were called to Idylwyld Drive at around 9 a.m.
Police said the victim was walking in the area when two strangers approached her. The men demanded her belongings before stabbing her, police said. Both of the would-be robbers fled after the attack without taking anything from the victim.
She was taken to hospital by paramedics. The woman’s injuries, police noted, were not considered life-threatening.
Anyone who has information – or video evidence – that could help the investigation was urged to contact police or make an anonymous report through Crime Stoppers.
