Highway 16 east of Langenburg was closed in both directions Friday morning due to a collision involving a number of vehicles.
The RCMP said just before 6 p.m., that the road had reopened.
Just after 10 a.m., the Esterhazy RCMP said officers were on the scene of the accident. The Highway Hotline said the scene of the crash was about 1.5 kilometres east of Langenburg.
Local detours that were put in place at the time of the crash were removed just before 6 o’clock.
In that later release, the RCMP didn’t say if there were any injuries, the extent of the injuries if people were hurt, or how many vehicles were involved.
