Police in Biggar caught up with the second of two people wanted in connection with a Feb. 3 break-in at a home in Eston.
According to the RCMP, officers caught up with 26-year-old Derrick Seefried in Biggar, where he was arrested.
Seefried is charged with breaking and entering with intent, assault with a weapon, dangerous operation of a motor vehicle and fleeing police in connection with the break-in and a subsequent incident where police said the suspects’ BMW rammed two police vehicles.
He’s also facing new charges from Rosetown, the Mounties said, which include dangerous operation of a motor vehicle, fleeing police and mischief.
He was scheduled to appear in a Saskatoon courtroom Wednesday, police said.
On Friday, police in Biggar arrested the other person charged in connection with the break-in, 22-year-old Tami Falcon. She was also scheduled to make a court appearance Wednesday.
