The Saskatoon Blades are on a roll — and so is Ethan Chadwick.
Saskatoon ran its WHL winning streak to three games Tuesday with a 4-0 victory over the Edmonton Oil Kings at SaskTel Centre. Chadwick has started in goal in each of those games, posting a 1.33 goals-against average over that span.
On Tuesday, he stopped 21 shots for his second shutout of the season. His first goose egg of the 2022-23 campaign occurred Nov. 12, when he also made 21 saves — also against Edmonton and also at SaskTel Centre.
Brandon Lisowsky, Lukas Hansen, Egor Sidorov and Charlie Wright scored for the Blades on Tuesday. Connor Roulette added two assists.
Kolby Hay made 40 saves in the Edmonton goal.
The Blades improved to 33-12-3-1 and sit in third place in the Eastern Conference. The Oil Kings are last in the 12-team conference with an 8-38-3-0 record.
Saskatoon returns to action Friday against the host Kamloops Blazers in the first game of the Blades’ five-game swing through B.C.
